On Tuesday we had our Synagogue Hop field trip that was an amazing success. Thank you to all of the parent volunteers who joined us for our special day.
Today we had two visitors. Wendy, from the Bat Conservation Society of Canada, came and spoke to us about bats. She showed us slides, a short film, we got to use a echo locator device and she introduced us to Norman. Norman is a large brown bat that lives at the Conservation Society. Students were excited to see a real live bat up close. Thanks Wendy !
This afternoon we had a visitor from Petland Pet Store show us some cool animals. Students saw birds, got to hold a tarantula, bearded dragons, frogs and many more animals. Thanks Petland !A big thank you to Mrs. Aucion who organized all of our visitors today.
As we start to wind down, Morah Tammy in the library would like to remind students to bring back library books that they have signed out. Along with this, any students who have not yet returned your Yesh Lanu Llama #2 reading book, please do so.
